Most trainers are more concerned with certifications, than application. The attitude is "just getting that piece of paper", and that makes them feel more qualified. However, let's talk about application based on "the goal", load lines, opposing forces, position, direction of resistance, path of motion, range of motion, posture, functionality, tweekability, stability before mobility, what does core mean? What is the function of the T.V.A.? Is there such thing as functional exercise? What does the client want?
